Got up early today (7.30am) to listen to the mighty West Ham, thankfully win. This season is good! The lower league means no TV coverage, but more victories mean Saturdays get off to a better start.
Spent some time in the "Hammertorium" reminding myself of the times when West Ham were once a good team.
Went Christmas shopping, noticed lots of people out in electric wheelchairs. Perhaps they are just avoiding the Christmas rush or are they the new must have gift for 2012? Angry Birds seem very big this year with their paraphernalia stuck on just about anything. Classic board games are back too. Games like Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Clue, Connect Four are all hitting the shelves - "It's family fun night". Only, wait for it, you now play a computer. Whatever happened to the joy of throwing a dice? Or actually bankrupting your great Uncle Joe with real fake money? I also know these electronic versions make cheating much harder, which makes me dislike them even more.
Off to watch a movie and eat pizza; what with creating a new website, shooting a short film,
blogging, tweeting, Facebook, YouTube, work and trying to keep a family convinced you have time for them too is all very strenuous.
Thank you West Ham, my suffering is some what eased.
